Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses are weighted by applying one additional quality point to the final grade. All students are ranked at the end of the sixth and seventh semesters. The seventh semester report, including semester grades, GPA and rank is sent in February to all colleges to which a student has applied, with the grading system printed on each transcript. Advanced classes are available in Geometry and Algebra II, although grades are not weighted. Honors Classes are offered in English (9th-11th ), Earth Science, Biology, World History I, World History II and Spanish IV. No weight is attached to these grades.
